Welcome to the Streaming Media Guide for Faculty

This research guide provides an overview of online streaming video collections available through Hayden Memorial Library.  The Library provides access to streaming video through digital site licenses and online subscription database collections.

Use this guide to learn more about streaming video, captioning and copyright, as well as tips on embedding video in Canvas.

Common Media Needs

Remote Access

An active campus network login is required for off-campus access to library subscription resources and databases, including online articles, streaming video, and e-books. When accessing these resources from off-campus, users will be prompted to login with the same login you use for Canvas, then you will be able to view resources as if they are on campus.

Assistance

Need to request streaming media?

Need to request a DVD for purchase?

  • This will be available after we return to campus
The Hayden Memorial Library is committed to providing access to quality, relevant and inclusive media content to support the curriculum and research needs of faculty and students.  Our collections strive to reflect the diversity of our students and amplify the voices and perspectives of underrepresented groups.
