Open Educational Resources (OER) are Zero Cost Textbooks available online through an open Creative Commons License. They allow for unlimited simultaneous users.
No Cost Textbooks (to students) are e-resources that the library has purchased for students. Many no cost options that the library provides serve as e-reserves. For 1 or 3-user at a time titles, please close out of the ebook when you are finished to allow someone else to access it. Many copies allow for unlimited simultaneous users.
Faculty: If you are interested in adopting OER for your courses, or already do and you are not on this list, I'd love to hear about it. If you are OER curious, I'm here to help! -- Sarah Bosler, Academic Senate OER Liaison
