Welcome!
This guide provides ENGLISH 101/E students information and strategies for accessing primary and secondary sources in order to effectively research a work of non-fiction. Ideally, this guide is used as a companion to the in-person ENGLISH 101/E library orientation taught by a library faculty member.
Students come to a writing task with a wide range of library research experience. For some, this is your first research paper at Citrus, this may even be your first college class. For others the research process may be familiar, but our library resources and search strategies may be new to you. Please contact a librarian if you need assistance with your research paper or with using this guide. Need help generating keywords for your research?
Fall 2024: The physical reserve textbook collection is accessible for in-library use. The library has e-book copies of some, but not all textbooks. Check the Owl Bookstore website to buy/lookup textbooks.
