This guide provides Tom Eiland's ENGL 101 students information and strategies for accessing primary and secondary sources in order to effectively research a work of fiction or non-fiction, as well as historical and biographical information This guide is a companion to the in-person ENGL 101 library instruction taught by a librarian.
Spring 2022: The physical reserve textbook collection is accessible for in-library use. The library has e-book copies of some, but not all textbooks. Check the Owl Bookstore website to buy/lookup textbooks or download the Citrus College Mobile App to buy/sell textbooks.

Library Instruction Classes
Your Citrus College ID card is your library card. Library staff issue photo ID cards to current students, staff and faculty for free during library business hours.
All students currently enrolled in at least one credit-unit are eligible to receive a Foothill Transit Class Pass, a reusable electronic TAP sticker that attaches to the ID card that allows Citrus College students ride Foothill Transit for free. The Class Pass can be obtained at the Campus Center Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm and Fridays 8am-4:30pm. You must have a Citrus College Photo ID card to get the Class Pass sticker. Students attending on-campus classes or activities and employees working on campus will be required to take a weekly COVID-19 test. Check the testing schedule.

ID cards can be obtained 24 hours after students have registered for courses.
