Opposing Viewpoints in Context is a great database for searching for information about social issues and controversial issues. It also offers a lot of different types of resrouces, which can be useful as there are many different types of learners.
When lookkng up information on social issues, be sure to remember the CRAAP test. Keep it current, relevant, accurate and authoritative. Not sure if your source makes the grade? Reach out to your friendly neighborhood librarian.
