Of course, public libraries also offer books! While public libraries do not have as many scholarly resources as your college library, they are the best resources for finding popular fiction and nonfiction books. Search each library for physical and electronic resources:

eBooks & Audiobooks

With a public library card you have free access to eBooks and audiobooks. Click on the links below to see the services each library offers. Most of the listed services have apps that you can download to a mobile device. Each library gives you a certain amount of credits. A pro-library-user has library cards from both LA County Library and Foothill Libraries.

With a public library card you have free access to magazines and newspapers.

Covina Public Library offers access to magazines and newspapers:

  • PressReader: magazines and newspapers. Click sign in > search for and select Covina Public Library. 
  • New York Times: newspaper content and multimedia.
