What Is the LibKey Browser Extension

Getting Articles and E-books via LibKey Links

After you have followed the installation instructions above, look for the LibKey button to directly connect to articles and e-books available from the Citrus College library.

LibKey Nomad buttons explained

Some places you will likely see LibKey buttons include PubMed, Wikipedia, journal publisher websites, Amazon and Google Books.

When you click on a LibKey button, if you are off-campus you may be prompted to authenticate using your usual Citrus College username and password.

Please note that LibKey only "knows" about scholarly content. For articles, that means the reference must include either a DOI (Document Object Identifier) or a PMID (PubMed Identifier). It won't direct you to articles in newspapers or popular or trade magazines. If you are looking for those types of resources, you should search OneSearch or a relevant library article database. Not sure which one? Ask a librarian!

What about privacy?

LibKey Nomad does not require any personal account registration and does not track your usage. For more details, see the company privacy policy.
