Interlibrary Loan Request Form

Borrow from Other Libraries

INTERLIBRARY LOAN

The Citrus College Library borrows materials or obtains photocopies of articles from other libraries for faculty, staff, and currently registered students of Citrus College.

The library will not borrow items already owned by the library that are checked out. In addition, the library will not borrow current semester textbooks/workbooks.

Copies of most textbooks are available at the Reserve Desk for short loan periods. Most requests can be filled free of charge.

Requests for inter-library loan materials (i.e. borrowing from other libraries) should be made at least two (2) weeks before the material is needed. We will try our best to obtain the book/article, but cannot guarantee it.

When your book or article arrives, the library will call you to pick up the item(s) at the Library Circulation Desk (626) 914-8640.

INLAND EMPIRE ACADEMIC LIBRARY COOPERATIVE (IEALC)

IEALC is a cooperative arrangement between 18 academic libraries in San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties.

It allows students to visit and borrow materials from participating libraries. Currently enrolled students must show their ID card and an IEALC card at the participating library in order to borrow books. This service is not available for faculty and staff. To obtain an IEALC card, please visit the Reference Desk in the Citrus College library. For the most current listing of IEALC member libraries, see the IEALC directory.  If you have any questions, please call the Reference Desk: (626) 914-8644.
